Based in Lexington, KY, the heart of the horse country and home of champions, The Thoroughbreds are a senior pro pickleball team built on passion, competition and a love for the game.

The Kentucky Thoroughbreds are about more than just winning. Their mission is to elevate senior pickleball across the Midwest, shining a spotlight on the talent, athleticism and competitive fire that exists well beyond the younger ranks of the sport. They are committed to growing the game, building community and proving that high level competition has no age limit. Our roster is carefully assembled with a strong emphasis on chemistry, great sportsmanship and shared joy of competition.
